The proceeds of the Half Marathon & 10K support the Cancer Center of East Alabama Medical Center. We are also going to have a CHILDRENS HALF MARATHON. Children can participate by either running or walking 12.5 miles at any time prior to race day. They will then complete the last 0.6 Mile on Friday, January 18th at BIG DOG RUNNING located in the Glenn Dean Shopping Center. To run, we ask each child to make a donation on race day for any amount. All funds raised will be generously matched by THE HUDSON FAMILY FOUNDATION, and donated to Stand with Carly Fund to benefit children with cancer. Children participating will not only learn about the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle, they will learn the importance of helping others.
