2014 Lost Dutchman Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K & 8K:

This event is organized and executed by an all volunteer committee and benefits economically disadvantaged youth in the community.

In 2012 we returned $65,000 to the community.

Lost Dutchman Marathon, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 with an all volunteer board of directors.

Course Info

Five simultaneous events include a point to point USA T&F sanctioned Marathon, an out and back USA T&F sanctioned Half Marathon, 10K, plus an 8K Trail run.
We also have a 2 Mile Fun Run or Walk.
This is the most scenic marathon in the Valley of the Sun, run around the base of majestic Superstition Mountain, home of the infamous Lost Dutchman Gold Mine.

Marathon:
The elevation at the finish is 1840 feet.
The elevation rises and falls gradually numerous times throughout most of the course.
Every mile split will be marked.
The race will be chip timed.

Directions

All Lost Dutchman races start and end in Prospector Park with the exception of the Marathon which begins near Gold Canyon and finishes in Prospector Park.

Prospector Park is located at 3015 N. Idaho Road, Apache Junction, AZ 85119.
