2015 Susan McDaniel 5K Run for Lovelane:

The Susan McDaniel Run for Lovelane is an annual fundraiser for Lovelane Special Needs Horseback Riding Program.  This USATF sanctioned 5K Road Race has mile markers, water stops and a professional timing company.   The 5K begins and ends in front of the Weston Town Hall and the route wends its way through the beautiful residential streets of Weston.  

Before the 5K main event, there is a 1/2 mile kids fun run and a toddler diaper dash.  Balloons festoon the town hall and runners and onlookers can enjoy food, water, vendors, music, facepainting and a clown who will entertain the little ones.  

This well-managed event continues to grow annually and has become an area favorite for its cheerful, welcoming atmosphere and its connection to a great cause.  Please email [email protected] or call 781-259-1177 ext 28 for more information.  Visit lovelane.org for information about the life changing therapy offered at Lovelane.

The Susan McDaniel Run for Lovelane is scheduled for Sunday, June 14th 2015. 

Online registration will close on Friday, June 12th. 

Day of Race Schedule:

9:00am: Day of Race registation opens in front of the Weston Town Hall (11 Townhouse Road)

10:15am: Toddler Diaper Dash (no fee or preregistration needed)

10:30am: 1/2 Mile Fun Run ($10 fee, registration and waiver needed)

11:00am: 5K Road Race  ($25 fee, registration and waiver needed. Returning runners-please note that this is a new start time!)

12:00pm: Award ceremony for top finishers in age categories


Note:  ALL runners must sign a waiver (either electonically or in person at the registration tables). Water is available for all participants.  Overflow parking is available at the Country School parking lot on Alphabet Lane in Weston.  Townhouse Road will be closed to traffic from 9:30am-1:30pm
