2015 Uptown Rhodes Race 5K

• Uptown Rhodes Race:- Run 3.1 Miles

This family friendly event features a gently rolling scenic course through Ansley Park, one of Atlanta's most historic and beautiful neighborhoods. The course is stroller and dog friendly (just as long as your pooch is well-behaved, leashed, and under your control at all times).

Dogs are welcome to join you during the race There will be a special "pet pit stop" along the race route to provide dogs with drinking water. Dogs and their runners will also have their own special start group.

After the race, stick around for a huge post-race party on the lawn of Rhodes Hall, featuring delicious barbecue sandwiches from LowCountry Barbecue, refreshing drinks and great music. All participants will receive a t-shirt and goodie bag sponsored by Big Peach Running Co. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male/female finishers, top 3 male/female finishers in each age group, first participant with a stroller and first dog. -

If you think your pooch has what it takes to race with the best of ‘em, the run/walk event will begin at 9 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Rhodes Hall, located at 1516 Peachtree St. N.W., Atlanta, Georgia. Interested runners and walkers can register at active.com.  Race day registration is available. All proceeds benefit The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation.  Please note:  Dogs must be well behaved, leashed, and under their owner’s control at all times.
