-) The 17th Annual Big Lake Half Marathon is returning to Alton, NH on Saturday, May 19, 2018 for another day of scenic New England running! Join thousands of runners and spectators at New Hampshire’s most scenic road race, where you celebrate your finish with an after-party featuring refreshing Harpoon craft beer and plenty of food!

The Big Lake Half offers runners a scenic course along winding country roads around beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee. Starting on Letter S Road in Alton and finishing in front of ‘Shibley’s at the Pier’ in Alton Bay, this “lollipop” loop course provides spectacular views of forests, quaint cottages, and the White Mountains.

The race starts at 8 a.m. near Alton Central School, 41 School St, Alton, NH 03809. Please arrive by 6:30 a.m. to ensure you have time to park, check-in, and stretch before the race begins.

The after-party takes place near the finish at Shibley’s At The Pier from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
