_ The 2018 NIA Jingle Bell Run:

Join us Saturday Dec 1st as the Nichols Improvement Association & Nichols Fire Department present the 29th holiday classic, on a scenic rolling hill 5K course through the heart of the Nichols community, with one of the best race finishes in Fairfield County. Walkers are welcomed to participate in a our Helath Walk on the rolling hills of Nichols. Stroll, walk, push the kids...everyone is welcome!

Come Dressed to Run - No Indoor Changing Facilities

EVENT FEES:
NOTE: Proceeds go back into maintaining our property, ball fields, community playground & the Starkweather House.

KIDS RACE - Jingle Bell Jr. – Kids 1/3 mile “Fire to the Finish” (FREE!)
No registration required. Just show up at the Nichols Fire Department to receive the commemorative children's race bib.

JINGLE BELL 5K
18 & younger:
$25 - Pre-registered on/before November 28th
$30 - Walk-in registration
Over 18:
$30 - Pre-registered on/before November 28th
$35 - Walk-in registration

JINGLE BELL 2 Mile Health Walk
$20 - Pre-registered on/before November 28th
$25 - Walk-in registration

HIGHLIGHTS:
Long-Sleeve Holiday T-Shirts (Guaranteed to 5K/Walk registrations on or before November 17th. After November 17th, while supplies last)
Early Pick-Up & Walk-In Registration - Friday 11/30/2018 @ the Nichols United Methodist Church
(corner of Unity Road & Route 108) between 3:30pm - 8:30pm
Food & refreshments prior to and at the conclusion of the race

Awards:
Overall Male & Female Champions receive prizes and are removed from their age groups. 
Age Group Awards for male & female - three deep (1st, 2nd, 3rd) placements for 9 & under, 10-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+

9:15 AM - Jingle Bell Jr. starts in front of Nichols Firehouse on Shelton Road
9:30 AM - Jingle Bell Run-start of race
10:30 AM - Post Party & Awards Presentation
