This unique 5k Fun Run/Walk will be hosted at America the Beautiful Park on October 26th at 9am. It will be a fun, un-timed event, so if you want to know your time, bring your watch! With your registration fee you receive a "Where's Waldo?" costume kit from elope inc. that consists of Waldo glasses, beanie and long sleeve shirt. We also have Wenda costume kits and mini-Waldo kits for kids ages 6-12. Kids 5 and under are free and do not receive a costume due to no sizes for those ages, but are encouraged to dress up as well! Strollers are allowed on the course. Net proceeds will go to Colorado Springs non-profits who support the Waldo Canyon fire relief efforts as well as local trail upkeep and maintenance.
The Waldo Waldo 5k is a community race that supports Colorado Springs. Registration is collected, costs are paid and then the magic happens! The net proceeds will go back to a Colorado Springs charity or charities that align with the mission of Waldo Waldo. The rest of your money goes to support the continuation of this event by paying for rental fees, insurance, race materials, medial support, event planning, organization and execution.
