O.U.R. Race to Stop Traffick (Sponsored by Klima Orthodontics)...

• 1 Mile Run:- Run 1 Mile

Come join us as we “race to stop traffick"! All proceeds from this event will go straight to Operation Underground Railroad, whose mission is to rescue children around the world from sex slavery and trafficking.

The event will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2015 at 9 a.m., at the beautiful Occoquan Regional Park in Northern Virginia. There will be a 1 Mile Fun Run and an officially timed 5K. All participants will receive a t-shirt, tasty snacks to refuel and family friendly activities after the run.

For abolitionists who want to participate in the liberation efforts but aren't local, we have a Virtual Run option! Run a 5K on your own anytime between October 1st and October 15th, post a picture of yourself participating on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #ourracetostoptraffick, and we'll mail you a t-shirt too!

Event details and schedule

• The race takes place in Occoquan Regional Park at 9751 Ox Road, Lorton, VA in the big field next to the parking lot. The course is beautiful and stroller-friendly!
• To register for the team discount, you must have a minimum of five team members and all team members must register together.
• Prizes will be awarded for the top three male, top three female, and top three chidren under 12 5k finishers. Prizes will also be awarded for the top three children under 12 1 Mile Fun Run finishers.
• The parking lot will be clearly marked and parking is free.
• The size of t-shirt you choose upon registration will be the size you will receive in your race packet. There will be no changing sizes.
• No pets are allowed.

8:00 am Check in and packet pick up

9:00 am The 1 Mile Fun Run begins

9:30 am The 5k Race begins

Drinks and snacks will be provided after the race for all race participants. We will also provide a few family-friendly activities at no extra cost.
