The North Dakota Collegiate CattleWomen and its partners will showcase the heart-healthy benefits of beef during its 1st annual, "Beefin' It Up; Fuel for the Finish" 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run on April 29th, 2017. This year we are proud to benefit Brave Kids Bold Cures at Sandford Children's Hospital and Roger Maris Cancer Center. "Brave Kids Bold Cures is a Sanford Children's initiative supporting kids fighting cancer at Sanford. These young heroes and their families inspire us every day with their courage in teh face of unimaginable challenges." The race is open to everyone, from decicated athletes to individuals who just want to get some heart-healthy exercise. High-quality, nutrient-dense proteins, like beef, plan an important role in overall health and wellness.
The 5K/10K route will follow paved trails from teh Lindenwood Park Main Shelter along the river bank on the North Dakota and Minnesota border.
