Proceeds from the "Book It' 5k Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk benefit the Mars Area Public Library. With your running or walking shoes, you and your friends can help us support our great community library decidcated to improving the libes of many thorugh the greater Mars area. 

Event details and schedule

WHAT -Proceeds from the Mars Area Public Library BOOK  IT race will be donated to the Mars Area Public Library.  With your running or walking shoes, you and your friends can help us support our great community library dedicated to improving the lives of many throughout the Mars area.

Race day:  May 7   Treesdale Community Center   9:00 am.  Registration:   Treesdale Commons parking lot   8 am.  Starting line:  Treesdale Commons parking lot.  The 5K course runs from The Commons parking area and through Treesdale neighborhoods.   Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the race at The Community Center.  Parking will be available in the Treesdale Commons.

RACE INFORMATION -The $20.00 entry fee entitles participants to race awards.  Deadline for registration is May 7, 2016.  Race information can be picked up on the day of the race at Treesdale Community Center beginning at         8:00 am.  To register, complete the registration form above, sign and mail with check or drop it off at the library. AWARDS - Race awards will be presented to the top three males and female finishers plus the top male and female finishers in each of the following categories:  11 and under, 12-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
