How does a “Let's move Team” work compared with a solo runner?
You register as a team (5 people minimum) rather than as an individual. You get to pick a groovy custom team name, anything from "The Roy G Biv All-stars" to "We Sweat Rainbows." You then get to run/walk together and help each other get really colorful through the 5 kilometer course. There is no “relay” component and team members can finish together as a unit or separately.
What is included with my registration?
Each registered runner will receive the 2015 Participant Kit complete with a custom race t-shirt, gold finisher's medal, race bib number w/timing chip!
All runners will be emailed about 7 days prior to the race with information on dates and locations for the parking and etc...
Can I run with a jogging stroller and my kids?
On one condition…if you are prepared to be one of the hippest moms/dads on the planet! All kiddos 5 and under can run with an adult FREE of charge and do not need to register! Unregistered children do not get the race packet, but there will be plenty of sweet gifts and sample items for them at the event!
Can I run with my dog/cat/turtle?
For the safety of our runners and animal friends, we do not allow animals at any of our races
Is there an age limit for younger runners?
No age limits! If they can cover (running, jogging, walking, strolling) the three miles of course, they can absolutely participate in this 5k/10k run/walk! Remember though, as soon as they turn 6 they will need to register and have a race bib!
Is there a packet pick up for the event? How does all that work?
Yes. It will be emailed to runner as soon as they register to run!
Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
You bet! As long as you send them with a printed or electronic copy of your confirmation email with the bar code on it!
Is this run timed?
Yep.
Are there refunds?
If an event is held as advertised, we cannot issue refunds. The logistics of setting up and planning the event make it impossible. Just make sure you are good to go before signing up. If for some reason you can’t make it to race day, at least come to the Packet Pick-Up, pick up your run gear, and say hi to us!

What happens if there is bad weather?
A little rain in California won't stop The Happiest 5k! If there are major weather warnings in your city during the weekend of the event, check the city event webpage, and stay tuned for emails with updates.
In the event that severe weather does threaten the event, we have prepared some weather cancelation policies and guidelines.
