Salisbury University Student United Way presents... The 4th Annual Zombie-Infested Halloween 5K Dash & 1 Mile Walk.  100% of proceeds benefit United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore!

Put on your best racing shoes and run our officially-timed & wildly fun "ZOMBIE-INFESTED” 5K or go on a 1 Mile Zombie Walk.  (Note: Zombies will NOT chase you or interrupt your running & running time).

After the race, enjoy the Outdoor After-Party complete with DJ Entertainment, an Awards Ceremony for the Top Two 5K Finishers in Age Groups & Overall (Male & Female), Halloween Costume Contest, Tasty Treats, Zombie Photo-Ops, Games, Prizes and More!  

Held on the morning of October 28th at the beautiful Salisbury University Campus, this is surely a Halloween event you won't want to miss.

Student United Way's fundraising goal is $7,500!  With your help and the aid of our generous sponsors, we can achieve this goal and make a HUGE DIFFERENCE in the local community!  

About United Way:

United Way Fights For the Education, Health & Financial Stability of Every Person in Our Local Community!  For over 72 years, United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore provides critical support for our neighbors in need in Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, and Dorchester Counties. The organization, which is the largest non-governmental source of funding for area nonprofit agencies, provides support for 74 different local programs with a special focus on education, income and health. This year alone, the United Way is impacting the lives of over 82,000 people on the Lower Shore by providing over $1.4 million in funding to 33 local agencies.

OUTDOOR AFTER PARTY FOLLOWING THE RACE WITH TONS OF SPOOKY FUN INCLUDING MEDALS FOR TOP TWO 5K FINISHERS IN AGE GROUPS & OVERALL (MALE & FEMALE), PRIZES FOR BEST HALLOWEEN COSTUMES, DJ ENTERTAINMENT, TASTY TREATS, ZOMBIE PHOTO-OPS & MORE! 

Runners and Walkers are encouraged to wear their Halloween Costumes!

Adult Costume Contest (18+) and Kid Costume Contest (17 and under) receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Prizes. 

Water Station & Course Attendants will be provided.

This event is open to the entire community, as well as SU faculty, staff and students.  Kids and strollers are welcome!  10 and under are free!
