The Hollis Fast 5K 2020  has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 concerns  

"As we reviewed the race timeline, it was apparent that even if stay-at-home guidelines are lifted before the race, it will likely be many months before people feel comfortable in large crowds.  In response, we've made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Hollis Fast 5K. 

Virtual Hollis Fast 5K Race

The proceeds from The Hollis Fast 5K, the Hollis-Brookline Rotary Club's fundraising event, go towards local charities, community events, scholarships, and other worthy charitable causes.  As a way to make up from our lost revenue, we are offering a Virtual Hollis Fast 5K.  

Our virtual 5K race can be run anywhere at any time before our original date of June 11, 2020.  Use a high school track, a course meatured by a GPS watch or run the actual Hollis Fast 5K.  The start & finish lines, along with the mile markers are stenciled on the asphalt on the side of the course.  We don't plan on having results or tee shirts, but you can practice social distancing, while doing a simulated race.  Take a photo of yourself and post it to our facebook page.  We will be sending out more information regarding this option.

The Hollis Brookline Rotary Club welcomes you to our annual running event. People of all ages and abilities from walkers, first-time 5k runners to world class athletes enjoy our gentle downhill course featuring the quintessential New England community of Hollis, New Hampshire. 

The Hollis Fast 5K race features a unique and scenic course that drops 224 feet from start to finish. The distance is certified by the USA Track & Field, but because it drops more than one meter per kilometer, official state and national records do not count. If you beat your state age record for our individual age, you will receive a waived entry into the 2020 race.
